UNCF Fresno is hosting the 6th Annual “Jazz for Scholarships” concert featuring Pete Escovedo!

Pete Escovedo is a Mexican-American percussionist that is apart of the world-renowned Latin Music Group. This group performs around the nation for various prestigious events and is set to perform in Fresno for our organizations' fundraiser.

Ticket sale proceeds will contribute to the United Negro College Fund, Fresno chapter’s Scholarship Fund that helps hard-working African American students across the city of Fresno.

Peter "Pete" Michael Escovedo is a Mexican-American musician percussionist.
He was raised in a musical family (Coke Escovedo, Javier Escovedo, Alejandro Escovedo, Mario Escovedo are his brothers) in Oakland, CA. He has been at the front of the Latin jazz scene for three decades. Father of singer - percussionist Sheila E.
